Memebership in ZCI

Anđelka Strajher, General Manager of the company Megatrend Business Solutions, has become a member of the economic council of the first Croatian Scientific Center of Excellence (Znanstveni centar izvrsnosti) for data science and cooperative systems.

Ministry of Science, Education and Sports of the Republic of Croatia, on the proposal of the National Council for Science, Higher Education and Technological Development, declared on November 6, 2015 Scientific Center of Excellence for data science and cooperative systems, as the first scientific center of excellence in the field of technical sciences in Croatia.

Our company along with their business success in the past year also started to participate in connecting the scientific community with the economy.

Research unit for data science gathers 49 scientists from nine collaborating institutions dealing with the theory and applications of this important area. Anđelka Strajher is one of the ten members of the economic council of this center, along with colleagues from the best Croatian companies from this area such as Agrokor, Ericsson Nikola Tesla, Equidem, Infodom, Microsoft, mStart, Neos, Oracle and Poslovna Inteligencija.

The mission of this research unit is to become a leading research center in the region for the research and application of data science to improve the quality of life and stimulate economic growth in Croatia.
