Eco-Driving Course

In the previous period all employees from service and system support department from company Megatrend Business Solutions passed Eco-driving course in cooperation with Oryx Safe Driving Centre.

Course programme was tailor-made individually for our company taking into account fleet structure and drivers’ profiles. The course itself took place in real road conditions in a vehicle equipped with devices measuring all necessary driving parameters. The instructor was present in the vehicle at all times with the participant.

There are four key results brought by ECO-driving Course by the method of ORYX Safe Driving Center through:

• reducing costs for drivers – course directly reduces fuel consumption by an average of 10.88% for trucks and 18.1% for passenger cars. It also reduces cost of vehicle maintenance and costs resulting from traffic accidents,
• reducing greenhouse gas emissions (environmental) – course reduces on average CO2 emissions by 11.01% in cargo and 17.96% for passenger cars and also reduces local emissions and noise,
• increasing road safety – course improves and enhance driving skills,
• contribution to social responsibility – course contributes to responsible driving, reduces stress while driving and increases the comfort for drivers and passengers.
